Why I Built It
I didn't build Nemonix because I saw a market gap. I built it because I was tired of drowning.
For years I juggled bills in my head, guessed at my debt payoff timeline, and hoped nothing slipped through the cracks. I was using three different tools just to get a basic picture of where my money was going - and still felt like I was always one missed payment away from things falling apart.
I tried every app I could find. Some were too complicated. Some were too expensive. Some were built for people who already had their finances figured out - not for someone still trying to get there. None of them felt like they were built for me.
So I started building something for myself. What began as a simple bill tracker on a weekend turned into a year of nights and weekends, building feature after feature, testing everything against real situations from my own life and the lives of people around me.
What It Does
Nemonix is a personal and business finance app that lives entirely in your browser - no download required, no complicated setup. It connects to your bank through Plaid, the same technology used by thousands of financial apps, to sync your real balances automatically.

Spending - see where your money actually goes, categorized automatically from your bank transactions, with a Budget Health Score that tells you how your month is tracking
Outlook - a forward-looking view that answers the question everyone actually needs answered: "can I swing it this week?"
Business - invoicing, expense tracking, vendor bills, profit and loss reporting, contractor payment tracking, and a self-employment tax estimate, all in one place
Family - share finances with your household, see a combined picture, and manage joint bills together without losing your individual financial history
Nemonix is available in English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese - because financial clarity shouldn't have a language barrier. Nemonix also includes 15 built-in themes across 5 color families, each available in OLED, Soft, and Muted variants. Whether you prefer a clean light mode or a deep dark theme, the app adapts to how you like to work. Small detail, but it matters when you're looking at your finances every day.
The Philosophy
The philosophy behind Nemonix is simple: personal finance should never cost money to manage.
That's why the personal tier is completely free - no trial period, no credit card required, no catch. Bills, income, debt tracking, spending dashboard, budgeting, and bank sync are all included at no cost, forever. That's not a marketing line. It's a design decision rooted in the belief that the people who need these tools the most are often the ones least able to pay for them.
Paid tiers exist for people who need more - business invoicing and expense tools for the self-employed and small business owners, household sharing for families who want to manage their finances together, and company-level tools for businesses with employees. But the core of what most people need day to day is free, and that will never change.
Every feature in Nemonix was designed around a real situation, not a boardroom assumption. If something is in the app, it's because someone actually needed it.

Nemonix was built for everyone - but especially for the people that most finance apps forget about.

I built Nemonix because I wanted something that would have helped me then - and I want it to help as many people as possible now.

Everyone deserves to eat. Everyone deserves a roof over their head. Everyone deserves a fair chance. That belief is built into why this exists.
